THERE IS NOTHING SOLO ABOUT A SOLO SWIM
There is truly nothing solo about a solo swim. Jamie is incredibly blessed to have a group of people around him who support him in his endurance pursuits. It is difficult to describe how important their role as a group is, but also as individuals. Each of them brings something unique, but equally important, to the ultimate success of Jamie’s extreme adventures. Most have been alongside Jamie since the start of his endurance pursuits. The crew is made up of incredible people who have amazing skill sets of their own. They have helped Jamie through times where he didn’t believe he could take another stroke. Their backgrounds and expertise range from areas such as physical therapy, sports psychology, emergency medical response, sales management, social media marketing, teaching, accounting and website programming, to fellow marathon swimmer, professional triathlete, librarian, practicing buddhist and author. What brings all of these people from such diverse backgrounds together is a shared passion for wanting to help and support Jamie in accomplishing his goals. Without them, these extreme adventures could not be a reality. They are his friends, his family and most of all his fuel to push forward. Their team motto has been, and will continue to be - "Live The Adventure Together."

Keith works for Oracle as a National Sales Manager. He played soccer for UC Santa Barbara and is a past Commissioner for the Olympic Club Ski Team. |

This is equivalent to climbing the seven most extreme mountains in the world.  MATT RICHARDSONMatt is one of the top physical therapists in the Bay Area. He and Jamie have known each other since the 6th grade. In high school, they both played on the Jr. National Water Polo team. Matt has been crew chief on many of Jamie's swimming adventures. Matt is an avid sailor and fly fisherman. |  JANET MANNINGJanet is new to Jamie's crew. She is a second grade teacher and has recently completed a single crossing, wetsuit swim across Lake Tahoe. Janet brings great energy to Jamie's team. |  GARRETT HARLEYGarrett works for Oracle as one of their Senior Project Managers. He is a multiple Ironman finisher and is also a trained EMT and Ski Patrol in Lake Tahoe. He has been instrumental as crew chief for Jamie on his swim adventures. |
 MORGAN CHRISTIANMorgan is a web programmer. In 2012, he completed a single crossing, wetsuit swim across Lake Tahoe. He has been a vital part of Jamie's swims and has handled much of the technology behind the previous live portals. |  DEBBIE LOPKERDebbie works in eCommerce as a Director of Business Development. She is an avid water sports enthusiast, accomplished sailor and marathon finisher. She plans to do her first century bike ride in 2014. Debbie and Jamie have known each other since high school and she has played a vital role in Jamie's swimming adventures. |  MARK LUKACHMark is a history teacher at a private high school in Danville, California. He is also an author and Ironman finisher. Mark is no stranger to Jamie's adventures. His spirit has been a vital part of getting Jamie to the finish line. |
 TERESA PATRICK - WIFETerry is Jamie's wife. She is on the board of Buena Vista Auxiliary, a nonprofit organization that provides funding to support early intervention children's literacy. She doesn't always understand why Jamie pushes himself to such extremes, but she is always by his side. Without her support, Jamie would never consider such adventures. |  KAREN ROGERSKaren - aka Jamie's Swim Wife - has been there for Jamie on all of his swim adventures. Karen is an accomplished marathon swimmer who is one of a few to have completed an official ice swim. Karen is a huge inspiration to Jamie. |  LEXIE KELLYLexie is a professional marathon swimmer and holds numerous world records. She is currently the Race Director for the 2013 Flower Sea Swim in the Cayman Islands. Lexie and her mother have been huge supporters of Jamie's swimming pursuits. |
 HADLEY PATRICKHadley Grace is Jamie's eight year old daughter. She may not be an "official" member of the crew, but she will be in Jamie's thoughts every stroke of the way.
